Have you ever stood in front of three bins—trash, recycling, compost—wondering which one is right? Recycle with a Purpose takes that everyday eco-dilemma and transforms it into an engaging, charitable team-building event. Equal parts fun, informative, and rewarding, this program combines interactive recycling challenges with community impact. Using BridgeTheApp™, teams will compete in trivia, photo, and video activities to earn supplies while learning what belongs where—and why. In the end, participants assemble “Recycle with a Purpose” containers, filled with eco-conscious items, that are donated to schools, hospitals, churches, and globally challenged organizations. The result? Smarter recyclers, stronger teams, and a greener community.

Event Flow:

  1. Welcome & Icebreakers
    • Facilitator introduces the theme of recycling with impact.
    • Animated icebreaker activities energize participants and set the tone.
    • BridgeTheApp™ tutorial explains how to track progress and complete eco challenges.
  2. Team Division & Eco Challenge Kickoff
    • Participants are divided into “packs” (teams).
    • Each team receives an iPad® to compete in recycling-based games and challenges.
    • Trivia, photo, and video tasks test recycling knowledge and creativity.
    • Correct answers and successful submissions earn points and supplies.
  3. Recycle with a Purpose Containers
    • Teams earn items to assemble eco-friendly recycling containers.
    • Containers are personalized with decorations, messages, and eco themes.
    • Facilitators weave in recycling education, highlighting common myths and best practices.
  4. Showcase & Reflection
    • Completed containers are displayed for a celebratory reveal.
    • Teams reflect on what they’ve learned about recycling and sustainability.
    • Optional peer voting in categories such as “Most Creative Container” or “Eco Enthusiast Award.”
  5. Donation & Impact
    • Containers are donated to schools, hospitals, churches, or other partner organizations.
    • Representative (when available) thanks the group for their contribution.
    • Event concludes with group photos and a reflection on environmental pride and community impact.
